Indica provides facilitation for strategy development and for groups dealing with complex business issues that require rapid and effective resolution. Our whole-systems approach seeks to identify common ground across diverse stakeholders and builds from what works and what is valued in the system.  We blend traditional strategic planning with innovative approaches such as Future Search, Search Conference and Appreciative Inquiry.

Organizational and change consulting

We support clients in managing the process of change, arising from changes in business climate and strategic intent. Some of the impetus for our change management engagements has included mergers, positioning a client for organic growth, supporting growth through acquisitions and creating a new culture within the organization.   We draw inspiration for our change management processes from cutting edge technologies including World Café, Participative Design and Open Space Technology.

In addition to facilitating the process of change, we assist our clients in evaluating and designing core levers of organizational effectiveness and change, including:

  • Organizational design and structure. Defining the structure, roles and responsibilities, and appropriate performance measurement systems for team members to align with the organization's overarching strategy.
  • Competency development. Identifying the skills, knowledge, behaviors, and abilities necessary for people in key roles to deliver business results.
